THE STORY
"My All American" is based on the real story of Freddie Joe Steinmark.
A scrappy undersized defensive back, Steinmark was a standout player on the national-title-winning 1969 team, before his gridiron career was tragically cut short when he went to the hospital for a bone bruise and learned that he had a cancerous tumor that took his leg and ended his career.
Steinmark, whose cancer was discovered just after the team beat the Arkansas Razorbacks to win the title, made an emotional appearance on crutches when UT played Notre Dame at the Cotton Bowl, coached the team’s freshman defense and became an inspiration to cancer sufferers before the cancer took his life.
The film will focus also on Darrell Royal, the football coach who guided the Longhorns to three national titles in his 20-year tenure and never had a losing season. He developed a special bond with Steinmark.

What Freddie Steinmark (Finn Wittrock) wants most in the world is to play football. Deemed too small by the usual athletic standards, his father trains him hard, and Freddie brings a fight to the game that ultimately gets him noticed -- by none other than legendary University of Texas coach Darrell Royal (Aaron Eckhart). Awarded a scholarship and a chance to play for the Longhorns, Freddie sets off to Austin with his loving high school sweetheart Linda (Sarah Bolger), determined to make the team. Alongside his old teammate Bobby Mitchell (Rett Terrell) and new pal James Street (Juston Street), Freddie is put through the paces of a grueling practice schedule, but the boys' camaraderie off the field translates into solid playing on it, and they rise up the depth charts, giving the Longhorns a real chance to turn around their losing record. But just when they're reveling in the success of the season, Freddie suffers an injury that leads to a shocking diagnosis and the biggest challenge he will ever face. SYNOPSIS
The film is about woman who gets caught up in "what ifs" that cause her to dig back into her romantic history.
Robin plays the role of Emmie, the protagonist, a woman who looks back nostalgically on her past love life and thinks about how it might have been. Disregarding her current obligations, she digs into her romantic past in hopes of invigorating her present.
Adam Scott, who also stars in the film, will portray a local hero who stayed in his hometown after high school to become an artist and illustrator, trying to win the heart of his dream girl.
More detailed plot:
99.9% of the time when being a couple doesn’t work out, the breakup is inevitable and lasting. Not in Emmie and Jason’s case. Emmie (Robin Tunney, TV’s The Mentalist, The Craft) seems to be doing pretty well for herself in New York City, contentedly running a dog-sitting business that loving husband Graham (Josh Hamilton, The Bourne Identity) set up for her. Into this peaceful scenario comes a reality series focused on “past relationships,” which rejects Emmie’s long-done love affair with Jason (Adam Scott, TV’s Parks and Recreation, Step Brothers) for their show. However, a formerly dormant curiosity with “what if” provokes her to take a trip back home. Once there, things are not what she expected, and the decisions Emmie is forced to make cause her to take a good look at the bigger picture. Nate Meyer (FFF 2007 Special Jury Award winner, Pretty in the Face) returns to the Festival with a different style of love story that surprises from the first frame to last.

Phase 4 Films has acquired rights to distribute the film, and and it is having its market premiere this week in Cannes.
Berry Meyerowitz, President & CEO of Phase 4 Films, announced today that the company has acquired North American rights to writer-director Nate Meyer’s romance SEE GIRL RUN. The film stars Robin Tunney (THE MENTALIST) and Adam Scott (PARKS AND RECREATION). Jesse Sweet, Derrick Tseng and Meyer produced the project, with David Gordon Green (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, THE SITTER) and Lisa Muskat (THE SITTER) executive producing. SEE GIRL RUN made its world premiere earlier this year at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival, and is having its market premiere this week in Cannes. Phase 4 will release the film day-and-date in theatres and on VOD later this year.

"Looking Glass" is the latest Robin Tunney's project.
Her character is called Maggie.
The movie is a thriller, produced by Highland Film Group, and it's about a couple that buys an old motel in the desert looking for a new beginning, but what seemed at first as an escape is soon a thrilling ride through a mysterious world when Ray (Nicolas Cage) discovers a two-way mirror and witnesses a horrifying murder. In a twisted game of cat and mouse, Ray must race to save his wife and himself from a gruesome secret connected to the hotel and the strange people who visit there.
According to IMDb the release date is February 16, 2018.
